Preparing for 2015

The COP needs to join with the ILP in the house and vote on bills accordingly. Both parties need to negotiate on behalf of the people of this country so that good governance can become a reality rather than platform rhetoric.

By joining I do not mean to get rid of the government, I mean to improve governance, to ensure that bills are passed that lead to improved lives, a developed country. I mean as a means to force politicians to understand that once elected into government, their main purpose is to improve the lives of all rather than an elite few.

If the COP can do this, they can be confident that the electorate will not forget them at the next election. Failing to do this, then they can kiss their political life goodbye.

The PNM on the other hand, cannot see the present situation as some kind of window, some opportunity to get in. They must see it for what it is, and that is that the electorate simply demand performance.

This govt came in on a wave of disenchantment with the former PNM admin, and has forgotten this quickly. Someone needs to remind them of this, fortunately for us, little by little they are being reminded.

Don’t neglect people. EVER!!!
