There was no victory, no people power. No none
of that was had. The day when we can truly get citizens all, no matter
where you sit, no matter which side you support, no matter your biases,
when we get citizens to put those things aside and genuinely support
causes, demand accountability, good governance, then we will have
victory.
What we had was persons on one side standing up, those who
would have done nothing had the
circumstances been different and then we had those who would have gone
to hell and back before, who supported such causes, making a spectacle
of themselves on political platforms, rallying the troops; appealing to
emotions, making nasty remarks against a man who stood up, who they
should side by side with once in another incarnation. Wake me up when
allyuh serious about people power. Hold the fireworks please, the poor
animals have had enough.

yes, of course you were, because you see, there are those who like to be taken for fools, they believe that they have the power, when the fact is that the financiers are the ones who really have the power. and who are we to tell the govt to stop a project, the only means we have right now is via the vote. we need to stop fooling ourselves. we need to start to re focus our attention and stop pretending that we can somehow inform govt policies. We can't, unless of course we have a few millions to spare. What we need to do instead is to focus on ourselves, rethink our negotiations with politicians, re brainwash ourselves. We can't continue like this
